As a reviewer, I found NaviLogic iGlide to be a robust and user-friendly soaring navigation application for iOS devices, offering a comprehensive suite of features suitable for both competitive and recreational pilots.

The app is available in three editions—iGlide Lite, Advanced, and Pro—allowing users to select a version that best matches their needs and upgrade seamlessly via in-app purchase of the price difference. This tiered structure provides flexibility for pilots at different experience levels.

iGlide Lite provides essential navigation tools, including a straightforward Direct-To waypoint function, a high-resolution terrain map with detailed topographical features, and access to daily updates for critical aviation data such as airspaces, airfields, and navigational aids. The inclusion of a final glide calculator, profile view, and vertical airspace overview supports effective flight planning and situational awareness. Traffic information can be integrated if appropriate data sources like FLARM or AIR TRAFFIC are connected, with visual and voice warnings enhancing safety. Additional features such as flight statistics, logbook capabilities, live tracking (via popular servers), data import options, and weather data add substantial value.

The Advanced edition introduces route planning capabilities across multiple waypoints, direct upload of flight logs to platforms like OLC or via email, a rubberband routing feature for quick adjustments, and more accurate wind calculations—enhancing the planning process significantly.

The Pro version extends functionality further with features such as current OLC scoring distance calculation and optimization, complex route planning aligned with FAI rules (including turn areas and finish circles), triangle optimization, advanced flight statistics, terrain-based final glide calculation, and intuitive live AAT (Assigned Area Task) optimization along with thermal climb optimization. These tools support pilots seeking maximum efficiency and competitive edge during their flights.

System requirements specify compatibility with iOS 13 or newer; users operating on older system versions should note that the app is not supported on outdated devices.
